The partial shade situation is more important than anything else in this thread and nobody touched it. Direct sunlight on the screen surface is a death sentence regardless of lumens. if your tree fully shadows the screen by 5pm you might not need a better projector at all. Do you know what angle that shade lands at your start time? that could be the entire variable here
