The studio behind Lies of P has quietly filed an EU trademark for "Wonders of O," all but confirming the title of its next game. Neowiz's development arm NOUGH — formerly Round8 — registered the mark with the EUIPO on September 10, 2026, per Vice. Lies of P sold over four million copies and drew critical comparisons to FromSoftware's best work, so anything pointing to its sequel is going to get attention fast.

If you stuck around for Lies of P's post-credits scene, none of this is a surprise. The sequence features Dorothy — ruby slippers and all — lifted straight from L. Frank Baum's The Wizard of Oz. "Wonders of O" slots into that setup cleanly, according to Push Square, completing the picture the original game teased. The studio's pattern is clear: take a classic fairy tale, strip out the warmth, and build a punishing action game around the bones.
A studio with a new name and big promises
NOUGH rebranded from Round8 in August 2026, rolling out what it calls a "Games by Gamers" philosophy — essentially a pledge that its games are built by people who actually play them at a high level. Director Choi Ji-won has stated his goal is to create "the world's greatest action game," as PC Gamer reported. The sequel was confirmed to be in full production as of May 2026, though a release is likely still years out.
